Microsoft Entra Administrator

*Travel to Topeka, KS one day per quarter

Seeking an experienced Microsoft Entra Administrator to join its Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. This individual will play a key role in administering and securing access through Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps, and related technologies. The ideal candidate is collaborative, technically skilled, and proactive, with a strong background in identity governance and cloud security tools.
Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, monitor, and optimize Microsoft Entra ID (35%)
• Configure and manage Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (35%)
• Handle identity integrations, troubleshooting, and SSO configurations (30%)
• Implement advanced security features including PIM, RBAC, and conditional access
• Collaborate with internal teams to design IAM solutions that align with Zero Trust principles
• Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) to support IAM functions

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD
• Hands-on expertise with PIM, RBAC, Conditional Access
• Familiarity with Defender for Cloud Apps and shadow IT onboarding
• Strong soft skills: personable, proactive, teachable
• Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python, etc.)
• Nice to have: AZ-900 certification, experience with service principals and key vaults
