Data Science Analyst
Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid 4 Days Onsite)
Contract Duration: 12+ Months (W2 ONLY, NO C-C)

We re looking for a Data Science Analyst who thrives at the intersection of data science, analytics, and business strategy. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys transforming raw data into actionable insights and building predictive models that drive real business impact. You ll work closely with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems, develop scalable solutions, and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business partners to identify high-impact analytical opportunities and define key questions.
  • Extract, clean, and manipulate data from various sources using SQL and Python.
  • Build and deploy predictive and prescriptive models using statistical and machine learning techniques.
  • Develop compelling data visualizations and presentations to communicate insights clearly.
  • Transition models from development to production within a cloud-based environment.
  • Contribute to software development efforts in a Python-based ecosystem.
  • Participate in project planning to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Stay current with industry trends and integrate new tools and methodologies into your work.

Qualifications
  • Master s degree or higher in a quantitative or analytical field.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with Python (especially Pandas and NumPy).
  • Experience applying statistical and machine learning techniques to real-world problems.
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as scikit-learn, statsmodels, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
  • Solid understanding of methods like Logistic Regression, Time Series Analysis, GLMs, Decision Trees, Random Forests, and Neural Networks.
  • Experience with GitHub for version control.
  • Proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for model deployment.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud ML platforms (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Azure ML).
  • Ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence without authority.
  • Experience modernizing or replacing legacy data infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake, Netezza, or Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with SAS programming.
  • Understanding of cash flow financial analysis and its strategic implications.

Estimated Min Rate: $49.00
Estimated Max Rate: $70.00
