The city of Las Vegas is accepting applications for Sr. Technical Systems Analyst. This position plans, administers, coordinates and oversees specialized information systems within the assigned department, division or work unit; analyzes existing business processes and systems to identify process and reporting issues and improvements; and performs a variety of technical tasks relative to the assigned area of responsibility. This position is fully on-site. Remote or hybrid work is not available.
Ideal Candidate:
The most competitive candidates will have strong experience analyzing, supporting, and enhancing complex technical systems, including enterprise database environments and cloud-based technologies. Candidates should possess demonstrated proficiency in scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell, or Python to support system integration, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. Experience developing and maintaining SQL Server Reporting Services reports and Power BI dashboards is highly desirable to support operational and data-driven decision-making.
