Systems Administrator
Edwardsville, IL
The Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining and monitoring company systems and related infrastructure to meet business requirements. This role ensures that systems hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to predefined standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform routine administration and maintenance of designated system(s) to meet business requirements.
- Monitor systems to achieve optimum performance levels.
- Ensure server compliance with established standards, policies, configuration guidelines, and procedures.
- Provide capacity analysis reports and data.
- Monitor server backups daily.
- Perform first-level problem determination and resolution to maintain platform availability and stability per service level agreements.
- Escalate higher-level issues to senior staff as required.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Customer service driven.
- Strong team player.
