RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Mid Level Third-Party Security Risk Assurance Senior Analyst to join our team in Houston, TX.
Summary:
This role will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that minimum security control requirements are implemented for critical partners and third-party vendors. The analyst will evaluate the security posture, compliance, privacy practices, and overall security maturity of third parties, identifying risks and recommending remediation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct vendor security assessments to evaluate maturity and identify deficiencies
* Identify and mitigate potential security risks during assessments
* Continuously monitor third-party vendors for vulnerabilities, breaches, and emerging security trends
* Analyze security attestations, audit reports, questionnaires, and memos
* Document findings and communicate risks and remediation requirements to business stakeholders
* Support program metrics and risk reporting for leadership
* Partner with internal teams to ensure a smooth vendor onboarding experience
REQUIREMENTS:
* Familiarity with common security control frameworks
* Ability to identify, evaluate, and communicate third-party security deficiencies
* Strong collaboration skills across diverse teams
* Effective communication of program importance and risk impact
* Excellent writing and documentation abilities
Preferred Experience:
* 3+ years in risk assessments, security assurance, IT operations, or IT audit control testing
* 3+ years of working with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF)
* 2+ years of project management and process improvement experience
* Technical knowledge of enterprise IT tools and solutions
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
