Job Details

Position- Conversion Programmer
Location - Berkeley Heights, NJ (Fully Onsite)

Full-time/ W2 - with Infinite Computer Solutions

What you'll do:

  • Develop and deliver conversion solutions to clients.
  • Manage end-to-end programming, conversion, and upgrade processes for multiple projects concurrently.
  • Automate and optimize processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance.
  • Coordinate testing and execution of custom solutions and conversions with stakeholders, provide project overviews upon delivery, assist with setup and certification, and resolve any issues encountered.
  • Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.

Experience you'll need to have:

  • 4+ years of programming and conversion experience in a financial institution or related industry.
  • 4+ years of experience in MS SQL scripting.
  • 2+ years of experience with SQL databases, Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
  • 2+ years of experience in Crystal Reports.
  • Knowledge and experience with General Ledger and accounting systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the use of complex formulas.
  • Ability to convert requirements into detailed technical specifications.
  • Competence in engineering discussions about technology decisions and strategy.
  • Bachelor s degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and/or equivalent military experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

  • 2+ years of experience in developing in .Net and C++ using MS Visual Studio.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL DB
  • Experience with Bank Credit Union platforms such as Wisdom or Portico
  • Experience in the financial services industryExperience collaborating with analytics teams on models, algorithms, or experimentation plans.
