Skills

Strong integration experience with ServiceNow
Partner with ServiceNow
Workday
and enterprise architecture teams to design and implement the Employee Experience Portal.
Evaluate and improve current ServiceNow instance configurations (e.g.
EC Pro) to align with enterprise standards and best practices.
Provide technical direction and architectural recommendations for integrations between ServiceNow
and other enterprise systems.
Identify integration pitfalls and performance bottlenecks
and propose effective solutions.
Participate in design and review sessions
influencing technical decisions and fostering alignment among stakeholders.
Conduct light hands-on debugging and troubleshooting as needed (not a full coding role).
Collaborate closely with strong technical and business personalities to drive consensus and decision-making.
Experience in Workday integrations or HR systems transformation projects.
Previous involvement in employee experience or service portal modernization initiatives.
Familiarity with large enterprise environments and governance processes.

Job Details

Role: ServiceNow Architect

Duration: 6 months with extension
Location: Chicago, IL
Interview: 3 rounds of interviews ( there could be an in-person interview)

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with ServiceNow, Workday, and enterprise architecture teams to design and implement the Employee Experience Portal.
  • Evaluate and improve current ServiceNow instance configurations (e.g., EC Pro) to align with enterprise standards and best practices.
  • Provide technical direction and architectural recommendations for integrations between ServiceNow, Workday, and other enterprise systems.
  • Identify integration pitfalls and performance bottlenecks, and propose effective solutions.
  • Participate in design and review sessions, influencing technical decisions and fostering alignment among stakeholders.
  • Conduct light hands-on debugging and troubleshooting as needed (not a full coding role).
  • Collaborate closely with strong technical and business personalities to drive consensus and decision-making.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong technical expertise in ServiceNow particularly in enterprise-level integrations.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering ServiceNow-to-Workday integrations or other complex cross-platform connections.
  • Solid understanding of cloud architecture principles and integration frameworks.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively across technical and business teams, handling strong personalities and driving outcomes collaboratively.
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI and search capabilities within ServiceNow or related platforms (preferred).
  • Experience providing strategic architectural input while still capable of debugging or hands-on configuration as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Workday integrations or HR systems transformation projects.
  • Previous involvement in employee experience or service portal modernization initiatives.
  • Familiarity with large enterprise environments and governance processes.
