Akkodis is seeking a Brk - Steering Design Release Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Auburn Hills, MI. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and hands-on experience with CAD modeling tools such as Catia or NX.
Rate Range: $40.09 - $45.09/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Pay Details: $40.09 to $45.09 per hour

Brk - Steering Design Release Engineer job responsibilities include:
- Translate functional objectives into technical requirements and solutions.
- Develop and maintain DFMEA, DVPR, and FMEA documentation.
- Conduct CAD modeling and generate 2D drawings including GD&T.
- Lead and coordinate Product Development Team (POT) meetings and change management processes.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited university (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive product design and development.
- Experience with CAN/LIN bus systems, circuit analysis, and powertrain components.
- Strong knowledge of DFMEA, DVPR, FEA, mold flow validation, and GD&T.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
