We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent BAS Programmer Technician to join our team in the construction industry. This is a unique opportunity to apply your skills and knowledge in a challenging and rewarding environment. You will be responsible for designing, programming, and commissioning Building Automation Systems (BAS) using a variety of software and hardware tools. This role requires a deep understanding of energy management systems, HVAC, and temperature controls. *** Must be able to pass a drug & background as well as have a clean driving record ***
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement BAS programs using Tridium, Schneider Electric products, Alerton, Johnson, Trane, and Automated Logic.
2. Generate programming and graphic databases for virtual systems and conversion tools.
3. Participate in project commissioning and re-commissioning processes to ensure systems are operating effectively and efficiently.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with BAS programs and systems.
5. Work closely with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in BAS programming and energy management systems.
7. Conduct system performance evaluations and make necessary adjustments to optimize energy efficiency.
8. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a BAS Programmer Technician or equivalent role in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience with Tridium, Schneider Electric products, Alerton, Johnson, Trane, and Automated Logic.
3. Expertise in using conversion tools and virtual systems.
4. Demonstrated ability to generate programming and graphic databases.
5. Experience with project commissioning and re-commissioning.
6. Strong knowledge of energy management systems, HVAC, and temperature controls.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex BAS issues.
8. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
9. Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in BAS programming and energy management systems.
