Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented PMO professional to support finance, risk, and regulatory projects within the bank. This role will be responsible for project governance, tracking, reporting, and ensuring alignment between multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial services, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Governance & Oversight
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
- Monitor project risks, issues, dependencies, and ensure timely resolution or escalation.
- Coordinate project steering committees, working groups, and governance forums.
2. Project Execution & Delivery Support
- Track project deliverables, milestones, and budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Work closely with project managers, finance, risk, and IT teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Prepare clear and concise reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management.
- Maintain transparency in project progress and provide data-driven insights for decision-making.
3. Process Improvement & Change Management
- Identify inefficiencies in project workflows and recommend improvements.
- Support automation initiatives and digital transformation projects within finance and risk functions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal control requirements.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- 10+ years of PMO/project management experience in financial services, preferably within finance, risk, or regulatory projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Proficiency in PMO tools (JIRA, Clarity, MS Project, Confluence, Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience managing senior stakeholders.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master) are a plus.
