Job Summary:
The Lead Procurement Analyst, Information Technology ("Lead") performs full-cycle procurement activities for the Ryan Information Technology (IT) organization. In addition, the Lead will perform the daily activities of the standardized purchasing process for the CTDO division. This entails entering and reviewing technology purchase requests via a SharePoint system, compiling a weekly report of all requests for funding for our CTDO to review, and entering POs in the Workday system. This position also works with the Procurement department to manage contract paperwork through the Legal department. The Lead will also create and manage the creation of annual blanket POs for regular services, quarterly review of blanket POs for required change orders, and backend research on invoices as requested by Accounts Payable and suppliers. They will also manage the process of moving services and POs to Ryan LLC from acquired companies as required.
Duties and Responsibilities:

People:
  • Creates a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that encourages productive interactions with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
  • Produces and maintains process documentation for the team and ensures knowledge management
  • Identifies and conducts training on new tasks and processes and re training as required for U.S. and India resources (inside and external to team)
  • Support hiring for the team if the team expands
  • Leads efforts on knowledge management and cross-training if any
  • Takes initiative in communicating with other team members in IT (outside immediate team) as well as end users and suppliers

Client
  • Performs end-to-end procurement activities for the Ryan Global Technology and Data organization
  • Manages relationships with Ryan Procurement, requestors, and external suppliers
  • Creates Supplier Requests in Workday
  • Creates requisitions for technology-related purchases
  • Issues Purchase Orders as needed
  • Creates annual blanket POs for the CTDO

Value:
  • Performs end-to-end procurement activities for the Ryan CTDO division.
  • Acts independently and with authority on all tasks within job profile
  • Pursues new process development and existing process enhancement to gain efficiency and accuracy, including design, documentation, and knowledge transfer to teammates
  • Help develop and maintain best practices and internal controls
  • Performs ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned
  • Proactively manages contracts for professional consulting as well as hardware/software maintenance and software subscription renewals
  • Act as backup for direct manager as needed
  • Provide data reporting and manipulation to support the projects of the team as needed


Education and Experience:

College degree in accounting or business administration required. Six to ten years' related procurement experience required. Proven experience in process improvement necessary. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Experience in software license or hardware inventory tracking a plus. Ability to work independently necessary.

Computer Skills:

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research. 2-4 years' ERP system experience, Workday Financials (particularly Purchasing) experience a plus.

Certificates and Licenses:
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or geo-equivalent certification is highly desired.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position can include leading or managing a small team, directly or indirectly. In this capacity, the incumbent will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Firm policies and applicable law.
