Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a Packaging Technology background to lead high-impact initiatives focused on cost optimization, packaging sustenance, and Value Engineering / Value Analysis (VE/VA). This role blends technical packaging expertise with strong project leadership to drive efficiency, innovation, and savings across product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end packaging projects from concept through implementation.

  • Ensure on-time delivery within scope and budget.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Operations, Procurement, and Suppliers.

< data-start="1064" data-end="1090">Packaging Technology:</>
  • Apply expertise in packaging materials, processes, and systems to deliver optimized solutions.

  • Support packaging sustenance initiatives and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

  • Evaluate and recommend packaging improvements for cost, performance, and sustainability.

< data-start="1393" data-end="1436">Cost Optimization & Value Engineering:</>
  • Identify and implement packaging cost-reduction opportunities.

  • Conduct and lead VE/VA workshops.

  • Track and report financial impact and realized savings.

  • Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to leadership.

  • Partner with suppliers and internal teams to align packaging strategies globally.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.

  • 8 10 years of experience in Packaging Technology and Project Management.

  • Demonstrated experience in cost-saving initiatives and VE/VA execution.

  • Strong project leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP or equivalent Project Management certification.

  • Experience working with cross-functional and global teams.

  • Knowledge of sustainability and regulatory compliance in packaging.
