Business Analyst: Transaction Manager

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Analyst: Transaction Manager for a 9 month contract role with our client in St. Paul, MN. This role is 100% remote.

Project: PLANT Payments Team
Program PLANT is modernizing the existing Mainframe Loan Servicing and Loan Accounting systems for the AgriBank district. The team will be responsible for one of three custom applications centered around money movement. Work direction from the Team Lead for Payments

Key Responsibilities:
Research and capture requirements for User Stories
Conduct discovery interviews, including producing artifacts such as meeting notes, and action items
Utilize documents and documentation as primary communication mechanisms internally and with customers
Write acceptance criteria
Facilitate story discussions in internal team meetings as needed
Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standup, demos, etc.)
Review and respond to functional and user test findings, evaluate and assess changes required and track associated stories and bugs.
QA test, as needed, in preparation of moving to UAT

Key Experience(s)

• Understanding of accounting principles and practices, especially as it pertains to money movement and transactions. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in banking or similar lending institutions.
• Prior experience as a Business Analyst
• Creation and/or documentation of agenda minutes, action items, decisions, etc. Experience in working with a decision log (e.g., DARI) preferred.
• Understanding of Agile (SCRUM) practices
• Story writing in Agile formats
• Previously run or contributed to discovery interviews
• Previous work in Financial Services or Farm Credit preferred
• Experience with upgrades or migrations of ERP financial systems (e.g., Oracle, Infor, SAP) strongly preferred

Key Skill(s):

• Good communicator, both written and verbal
• Well organized
• Attention to detail
• Prior use of Azure DevOps (ADO)

Compensation:
Hourly W2 pay: $65.00 to $75.00/hour
