Job Details

Job Title: Business System Analyst
Location: Dallas, TX or Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid 3 days in office)
Duration: 6 Month Contract (Possible Extension)

W2 Only | No C2C Option
Roles and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business goals, challenges, and needs.
Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather detailed business requirements.
Analyze current processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
Document business requirements in a clear and structured format.
Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation.
Translate business requirements into technical requirements.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by helping to create test scripts based on business and functional requirements.
Maintain documentation for traceability and audit purposes.
Assist project managers in tracking tasks and milestones to ensure alignment with timelines.
Monitor completion of deliverables and escalate risks or issues, as needed.
Participate in project meetings and provide updates and insights.
Compile and deliver regular reports on project status, risks, and issues.
Must Have Technical Skills: 3-5yrs
Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
Understanding of SDLC, Agile, or Waterfall methodologies.
Experience translating business requirements to technical/functional requirements.
