What will your day look like? As a Fortinet Network Engineer, you will:

  • Develop deep expertise in the Fortinet platform within ADI, taking charge of the wide area network with a focus on SD-WAN, edge, and internal firewalls.
  • Implement Fortinet products across on-premises and major cloud provider networks.
  • Create and publish reference architectures and run books for the network and firewall landscape.
  • Coach and train team members on Fortinet technologies to enhance their skills.
  • Utilize automation for deployments and configuration consistency.
  • Manage software and hardware life cycles effectively.
  • Contribute to monitoring and supporting network and firewall environments.

You will be a good fit as a Fortinet Network Engineer if you have:

  • Fortinet Certified Professional accreditation.
  • A minimum of 7+ years in networking roles with a specific focus on Fortinet SD-WAN for at least 3+ years.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Next Generation Firewalls.
  • Expertise in FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiMonitor platforms.
  • Proficiency in automation for deploying configurations and software.
  • A strong grasp of Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, and Anti-Virus systems.
  • A solid understanding of key technologies and protocols such as BGP, OSPF, RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSec, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within global teams and with senior management for strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Excellent documentation, technical writing, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in cloud environments is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Juniper and Aruba (wireless) environments is a plus.
