Are you looking for a way to try out some activities that you are learning in your classes and see if auditing is for you? Nelnet Audit Services is looking for an Audit Intern. As an Audit Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn about various functions and processes across the entire company and you will have exposure to leaders across all functions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Learn about the financial services industry, Nelnet and internal audit
Research and collect information about how business and IT functions work
Analyze information and determine whether processes meet company standards and objectives
Assist in the process of performing audit work and required documentation
Work on special projects
Collaborate with all levels of staff and management to understand how processes work and find ways to make the processes work even better
Document and communicate the results of your work
Participate in specific events and trainings for Nelnet interns
Work with external auditors to help them understand internal processes through gathering information

Pay Range - $14 - $18

EDUCATION:
Pursuing degree in business/accounting/finance/management information systems/IT/data analytics or other business related field.

EXPERIENCE:
Familiarity with being a contributor on a team, gathering information and putting it together in a logical manner, quickly learning how things work, including technology.
