Job Role : Scrum Master (Workday Learning & Compensation)
Location: Remote, USA
About the Role
Seeking a skilled Scrum Master to support our Workday Learning and Compensation initiatives. The Scrum Master will guide agile teams in delivering high-quality Workday solutions, ensuring alignment with business priorities while fostering collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives).
- Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize and refine Workday Learning and Compensation requirements.
- Guide the team in applying Scrum and Agile best practices, ensuring delivery of high-value increments.
- Remove impediments and coordinate across teams and stakeholders to maintain smooth progress.
- Track and communicate team performance metrics (velocity, burndown, quality) to stakeholders.
- Coach and mentor team members in agile principles, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Workday functional and technical consultants to ensure sprint deliverables align with business needs.
- Ensure compliance with Cognizant s agile delivery framework and reporting practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably in large-scale enterprise programs.
- Proven experience supporting Workday Learning and Compensation modules.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and scaling practices.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I/II, or equivalent) required.
- Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Rally, or Azure DevOps.
- Ability to thrive in a remote, distributed team environment.
