Job Title: Android Developer (W2)

Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite/Hybrid if applicable)

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Android Developer to join our team, working on-site at Adobe's San Jose, CA office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance, user-friendly Android applications for Adobe's suite of creative and enterprise products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UI/UX designers, and QA engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Continuously Client, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Android development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Kotlin, Java, and Android SDK.
  • Proficiency with Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
  • Strong understanding of version control systems (Git).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and performance tuning.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Jetpack Compose and Android Architecture Components.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.
  • Prior experience working with Adobe products or creative software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Material Design principles.
