Job Description: Lead Drupal Developer

Role Overview: -
We are seeking an experienced Drupal Developer with full-stack development and theme customization expertise to support a large-scale initiative migrating multiple websites from Drupal 7 to Drupal 9. The developer will play a key role in executing migrations, extending site functionality, and ensuring high-quality, accessible, and responsive websites.
Key Responsibilities
Hands-on experience with Drupal 7, 9, and 10.
Execute full-site migrations from Drupal 7 to Drupal 9, including structured and unstructured content, files, and media assets.
Configure and migrate content types, taxonomies, views, webforms, workflows, and user roles.
Build and extend custom modules and backend logic to support site-specific functionality.
Develop and maintain themes and templates using Twig, CSS/SCSS, and responsive design frameworks.
Perform unit testing, accessibility (WCAG 2.2), cross-browser compatibility, and responsive QA.
Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and QA to deliver features within two-week sprint cycles.
Optimize performance across hosting environments and work within Git-based CI/CD workflows
Document reusable functionality and contribute improvements to shared repositories.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of Drupal development experience, with hands-on expertise in both Drupal 7, 9 and 10.
Strong Pantheon experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
Strong backend development skills: custom modules, APIs, workflows, and configuration management.
Proven front-end/theming experience: Twig, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript/jQuery, responsive frameworks.
Proficiency with Drupal Migrate API, Drush, and automated migration pipelines.
Experience with Git-based workflows and modern hosting platforms (e.g., Pantheon, Acquia, or similar).
Strong understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and responsive web design best practices.
Ability to deliver high-quality work within Agile sprints.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in enterprise-scale Drupal migrations.
Contributions to the Drupal open-source community (core, modules, or themes).
Experience troubleshooting complex backend performance and scalability issues.
Familiarity with QA automation tools and CI/CD pipelines.
