Job Title: NOC Technician
Duration: 12-month (C2H)
Location: 2551 Riva Road , Annapolis, MD, 21401
Pay Rate: $30/hr to $32/hr on W2
Job Description:
Tier 2 NOC Technician MID Shift
Shift: 11:00 PM 7:30 AM (includes weekends/holidays)
Location: 24/7 CAS Network Operations Center
Overview:
Support Tier 2 operations by monitoring network systems, managing incidents, and resolving technical issues to ensure system availability for Collins Aerospace customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor networks and engage telecom providers to restore services.
- Log and update incident tickets accurately.
- Troubleshoot network/system issues and escalate as needed.
- Support high-availability networks, messaging, and air-to-ground systems.
- Collaborate with senior team members on complex issues.
- Prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and deliver strong customer service.
Training:
You will be trained over 4 6 months in three areas:
- Transport Network hardware (routers, switches, circuits)
- DataLink Air-to-ground communication systems
- Applications Message routing and processing systems
Required:
- Network+ certification
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, ITIL/ITSM, Cisco, HSRP, BGP
- AA/AS degree with 1 2 years' experience, or HS Diploma/GED with 2+ years
Preferred:
- CCNA certification
- Experience with Remedy, Netcool, Office 365, ServiceNow
