AVA Consulting is seeking a Web Developer IV - Shopify Platform
Location: Remote - US

Job Description:
The web developer will create & customize an e-commerce experience for products. This involves a mix of design, development, and optimization tasks to ensure a functional and visually appealing online store.
Key responsibilities:
- Development and customization: Build and customize Shopify themes, plugins,and apps to meet specific business needs.
- Integration: Implement and integrate third-party apps and services, such aspayment gateways and marketing tools.
- Optimization: Improve website performance, speed, and mobile responsiveness and optimize for conversions.
- Collaboration: Work with designers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements and designs into functional features.
- Troubleshooting: Debug and resolve technical issues to ensure the storeoperates smoothly.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Programming languages: Proficiency in Liquid (Shopify's templating language), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is essential.
- Shopify platform: A strong understanding of the Shopify platform, includingtheme development and app integration.
- Front-end and back-end development: A solid grasp of both front-end andback-end development is often required.
- APIs: Experience with APIs is necessary for integrations.
- Problem-solving: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Soft skills: Excellent communication skills are vital for collaborating with teamsand clients.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Shopify developer or in a similar role.
