Job Description:

The State of Texas is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Power Platform Admin to lead the administration, upgrade, and support of its Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) and related tools. This role is a great opportunity for someone with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, and Co-Pilot Studio to drive critical initiatives in a public sector setting.

As a Senior Admin, you will provide technical leadership and hands-on expertise in Power Platform CoE, Power BI dashboard/report development, Canvas app development, and Co-Pilot Studio implementation. The role also involves collaboration across cross-functional teams and documentation of best practices.


Must-Have Skills:

  • Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) toolkit Upgrade, administration, and troubleshooting

  • Co-Pilot Studio Hands-on experience

  • Power BI Reporting Creating and managing interactive dashboards

  • Power Platform Canvas App Development End-to-end development and support


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the upgrade and troubleshooting of the Power Platform CoE toolkit

  • Utilize Co-Pilot Studio to streamline and enhance development workflows

  • Design, build, and manage Power BI reports and dashboards

  • Develop and support Power Platform Canvas apps tailored to business needs

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and internal teams to drive Power Platform adoption

  • Provide documentation and training on Power Platform tools and practices


Qualifications:

  • 13+ years of total IT experience with 5+ years in Power Platform technologies

  • Proven experience administering Microsoft 365 and Power Platform components

  • Strong experience in troubleshooting, debugging, and analyzing technical issues

  • Deep understanding of Power BI, data modeling, and visualizations

  • Familiarity with Azure Services including Azure Active Directory

  • Experience with Dynamics 365 for Customer Service is a strong plus

  • Excellent problem-solving and process documentation skills
