Remote but prefers the candidate to be close to Salisbury or Carlisle office. May report to the office if there is a specific training that needs to be done.
Responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating programs for internal functional areas including finance, human resources, and marketing. Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding, and tests/debugs programs. Develops conversion and system implementation plans. Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation. Recommends changes in development, maintenance, and system standards. Trains users in conversion and implementation of system.
Firm Requirements - these they must have Skills (soft - analyst capabilities, JIRA, Product owner, Business area of specialty etc....) Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical or analytical role. Proven ability to independently manage small to medium-sized projects. Experience supporting mission-critical enterprise systems. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; able to evaluate complex technical issues. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Familiarity with Agile methodology and product/platform-based models. Technical Capabilities (be specific) Programming & Systems: Mainframe, TSO, COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, Endevor, MVS. Methodologies: Agile, JIRA, SDLC Tools & Platforms: WebSphere MQ, System Monitoring Tools, MS Office Core Skills: Application Systems, Management, Innovation, Clear Communication, Technical Support/On Call Service Now. Experience Requirements (years of experience / specific software / etc...) Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical or analytical role. Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Programming or technical role. |
