Junior Network Engineer Job - Direct Permanent Full-Time Hire

We need network engineer who can setup and monitor firewalls, Load Balancers and monitor network health and have some experience with cloud (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform).

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Junior Network Engineer with a strong foundation in networking concepts and proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language. The ideal candidate will assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure while automating routine tasks to improve efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
Monitor network performance and ensure system reliability and security.
Support senior engineers in network design, upgrades, and optimization.
Automate repetitive tasks using scripting/programming (e.g., network backups, log analysis).
Document network configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve network-related issues. Technical Requirements:
Networking Knowledge:
Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, BGP, OSPF, and subnetting.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, Nagios, SolarWinds).
Basic knowledge of Cisco/Juniper/Huawei devices (CCNA or equivalent certification is a plus).
Programming/Scripting Skills (Command in at least one):
Python (preferred for automation, e.g., Ansible, Netmiko).
Bash/Shell scripting (for Linux-based network tasks).
PowerShell (Windows network automation).
Other languages like Go, Ruby, or Perl (if relevant to your infrastructure).
GOOD TO HAVE:
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Good communication skills for team collaboration.
Exposure to cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Knowledge of SDN (Software-Defined Networking) or virtualization.
Experience/exposure with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
