Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team and drive efficient, scalable, and reliable build and release processes across our environment.

This role focuses on ensuring high-quality deployment pipelines while collaborating closely with development, QA, and operations teams.

This position offers remote setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Georgia, whether it's your home, well-equipped offices in Tbilisi and Batumi or a coworking space in Kutaisi.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for builds and deployments
• Configure and maintain single-click pipelines for seamless integration and deployment processes
• Coordinate release deployments to ensure minimal downtime across multiple environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper deployment of services and applications
• Identify and implement improvements that reduce build/release failures and enhance deployment reliability
• Monitor and analyze pipeline performance, ensuring scalability and adherence to best practices
• Manage source control systems like Git/GitHub to ensure efficient branching and code integration
• Stay current with evolving DevOps tools and methodologies, introducing innovative approaches to process improvements
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and pipeline issues across development and production environments

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Azure Pipelines, Git, and Microsoft Azure
• Background in PowerShell scripting and YAML for automation
• Skills in CI/CD pipeline configuration and deployment management across diverse environments
• Understanding of build and release troubleshooting techniques for rapid issue resolution
• Expertise with source control strategies, branching models, and GitHub platform
• Proficiency in ensuring pipeline scalability and adherence to industry best practices

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Azure Metrics Advisor for monitoring and analytics
• Showcase of capabilities in Bicep for infrastructure configuration
• Skills in deployment strategies designed to optimize performance
