RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Release Manager for a hybrid/remote role in Walnut Creek, CA or Phoenix, AZ.
Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced and certified Release Manager with expertise in Copado to oversee and streamline the release management lifecycle for our Salesforce and related application environments. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, a deep understanding of DevOps principles, and hands-on experience with Copado to manage and automate release pipelines, ensuring smooth deployments and minimal downtime. This role involves managing deployments, automating processes, and fostering a DevOps culture.
Responsibilities:
* Strategic Release Planning: Develop a detailed release calendar and roadmap in collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and project milestones
* Environment Coordination: Manage multiple Salesforce environments, including sandboxes, development, staging, and production, to ensure seamless integration and deployment
* Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks and bottlenecks in the release process and implement strategies to mitigate them proactively
* Dependency Management: Monitor and address dependencies between different teams, systems, and features to avoid conflicts during deployments
* Quality Assurance: Coordinate with QA teams to conduct thorough testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure releases meet performance and quality standards
* Compliance and Governance: Ensure all release activities comply with organizational policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards
* Emergency Rollbacks: Develop and maintain rollback plans and procedures to address issues quickly and minimize disruptions in case of deployment failures
REQUIREMENTS:
* Certifications such as Copado Administrator, Copado Developer, or Advanced Copado Administrator, showcasing expertise in release management and automation within Salesforce environments
* Salesforce Administrator certification required
* Hands-on experience managing end-to-end release processes, including planning, execution, and troubleshooting in Salesforce environments
Preferred Qualifications:
* Platform App Builder, or Salesforce Advanced Developer are highly desirable and demonstrate a deeper understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem
* Hands-on experience with other DevOps platforms like Azure DevOps or Bamboo to enhance deployment processes and workflows
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
