Position Overview:
The Remote IT Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial accounting systems, ensuring data accuracy, and leveraging technology to improve financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain accounting software and financial systems, ensuring data integrity and security.

Assist in the implementation and integration of new financial technology solutions.

Reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports using accounting software.

Collaborate with IT and finance teams to troubleshoot system issues and optimize workflows.

Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal controls.

Monitor and update access controls to protect sensitive financial data.

Provide training and support to staff on accounting software and IT security protocols.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in accounting IT systems.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of financial processes.

Familiarity with IT systems, databases, and cybersecurity protocols.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Certifications such as CPA, CMA, or relevant IT certifications are a plus.
