Role Overview and Primary Responsibilities
System Configuration and Customization
- Configure and customize Fiserv core banking systems to meet the organization's specific business requirements
- Set up banking configurations such as tax rules and percentages. New products additions, Update existing product features including loans, deposits, accounts, and related modules
- Establish and maintain system parameters, settings, and configuration standards
- Work with business teams to translate requirements into technical configurations
- Support the creation of new products, branches, and business offerings within the core system
User and Access Management
- Create, modify, and delete user accounts, roles, and permissions across the core banking platform
- Manage service account credentials and security authentication mechanisms
- Oversee access control policies to ensure appropriate segregation of duties and regulatory compliance
- Configure role-based access controls (RBAC) aligned with organizational hierarchies and regulatory requirements
Required Skills and Technical Competencies
Core Banking Platform Expertise
- Understanding of Fiserv DNA, banking platforms
- Understanding of core banking modules including general ledger, customer information, loans, deposits, and payments
Software Development and Automation
- Scripting(SQL) and automation tools for routine operational tasks
- Banking Operations Knowledge
- Understanding of banking operations, financial products, and account types
- Familiarity with banking terminology and transaction processing
Soft Skills
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service orientation toward internal and external stakeholders
Good to have skills
- Programming language fundamentals (Java, Python, or similar) – Good to have
- Knowledge of build automation, deployment pipelines, and CI/CD processes
- Understanding of middleware technologies (WebLogic, application servers)
