Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst with strong experience in driving large-scale initiatives, managing stakeholders at all levels, and aligning business objectives with technology solutions. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in shaping business strategies, optimizing processes, and leading requirements management across complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary liaison between business leaders, stakeholders, and technology teams.
Lead requirements gathering sessions with senior stakeholders and convert business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
Drive enterprise-level initiatives including digital transformation, system implementations, and process re-engineering.
Evaluate existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements aligned with organizational goals.
Create and maintain detailed documentation including business cases, BRDs, FRDs, user stories, workflows, and process models.
Oversee and coordinate UAT planning and execution with end users.
Provide data-driven recommendations for strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, and Architects to ensure solution delivery.
Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in business analysis.
Manage stakeholder expectations and present findings to executive leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor s/Master s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
10+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, with 4+ years in a senior/lead role.
Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
Expertise in creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and process workflows.
Advanced proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Lucidchart, Power BI/Tableau.
Experience working on enterprise-scale projects across multiple business domains.
Strong domain expertise in [Finance / Healthcare / Banking / Insurance / Retail / IT Services insert as per need].
Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and executive communication skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to work with large data sets and BI tools.
Preferred Qualifications
CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or Agile BA certifications.
Knowledge of data analytics, cloud solutions, and digital platforms.
Experience in program-level BA leadership or managing BA teams.
