Title: Business Systems Analyst - Real-Insight / Originations (Multifamily)


Location: Hybrid - Baltimore, MD (preferred) - Remote considered for the right candidate

Compensation: $35/hr - $45/hr


We have partnered with our client in their search for a Business Systems Analyst - Real-Insight Originations (Multifamily). This role requires deep expertise in Real-Insight originations software and a strong understanding of the multifamily lending business. This role will lead cross-functional projects from planning to implementation, acting as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical skill, industry insight, and project leadership experience to ensure SaaS platforms support key business processes and regulatory requirements.


Responsibilities




  • Lead the execution of complex projects from proposal through post-implementation, acting as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams.




  • Prepare comprehensive and well-documented functional specifications, test plans, and test scripts; execute test cases to validate solutions.




  • Facilitate meetings with business stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements regarding application functionality, user interface expectations, and process improvements.




  • Provide mentorship to junior analysts by assisting in application training, research analysis, and implementation methodology.




  • Serve as project lead to ensure deliverables are met, including test plans, specifications, documentation, and reporting.




  • Coordinate and manage post-implementation activities including feedback gathering, issue resolution, and lessons learned documentation.




  • Participate in enterprise-wide initiatives including system conversions, acquisitions, or compliance-driven projects, assessing application impacts.




  • Develop and manage project estimates and timelines; contribute to financial and resource planning including capital/expense budgeting.




  • Act as a Test Coordinator for initiatives involving multiple systems or integrations; monitor testing progress, validate outcomes, and ensure regulatory alignment.




  • Document and maintain system architecture diagrams, functional specifications, and support documentation to ensure system integrity and knowledge continuity.




  • Review and ensure change requests are accurately documented, prioritized, and resolved to meet business and technical requirements.




  • Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and QA teams to ensure application changes meet internal standards, regulatory compliance, and business needs.




  • Promote collaboration across business units and IT to assess, recommend, and implement systems or enhancements aligned with strategic objectives.




  • Ensure adherence to corporate risk, compliance, and internal control standards throughout the application lifecycle.




  • Foster a culture that supports diversity, inclusion, and a positive brand reputation.




Skills Required




  • Deep expertise in Real-Insight SaaS-based originations software and its use in multifamily business processes.




  • Strong capabilities in documenting business requirements, system specs, and data mappings across complex applications.




  • Proven experience in facilitating cross-functional collaboration and translating business needs into technical solutions.




  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.




  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational abilities.




  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.




  • Knowledge of project lifecycle methodologies, risk management, and system integration best practices.




  • Experience mentoring junior staff and coordinating application-level testing efforts.




Education & Work Experience




  • Bachelor's degree preferred




  • Minimum of 4 years experience in operational, business analysis, and systems development




  • Experience supporting enterprise applications within real estate finance or origination environments
