Hybrid- work in the office 3 days per week

The job tasks of the Database Administrator would include
Meet with programs to learn business processes utilized in SMIS; work closely with agency staff and IT staff in prepare comprehensive documentation of technical requirements, processes, and specifications for the Surface Mining Information System.
Create and Refine Complex Queries: Construct efficient and accurate database queries, procedures, and audits to ensure seamless data retrieval and integrity across supported systems.
Work closely with IT leads and developers in the ongoing development and implementation of enhancements for the Surface Mining Information System (SMIS) to meet changing user requirements and improve operational effectiveness.
Collaborate and Communicate Effectively: Partner with users, business analysts, and team members to address system needs, troubleshoot issues, and convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
