Description
SAIC has an opening for a Cybersecurity Manager to support the successful execution of the NORAD-USNORTHCOM (N&NC) Enterprise IT Services (NITES) contract. A successful candidate will oversee the coordination, application, implementation, and execution of cybersecurity measures for N&NC. This role requires a proactive leader with deep expertise in cybersecurity practices, particularly within the Department of Defense (DoD) and intelligence community environments. The ideal candidate will possess advanced certifications and have substantial experience in managing cybersecurity operations, risk management, incident response, policy development, and IT service continuity management (ITSCM).
In addition to core cybersecurity responsibilities, this role includes oversight of functional offices responsible for the service catalog, requirements management, and DR/COOP planning to ensure organizational resilience, accurate IT service documentation, and continuity of mission-essential functions during adverse events.

Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management:
- Lead and manage the cybersecurity team in developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies and measures.
- Coordinate and oversee all cybersecurity activities to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and standards to protect information systems and data.
- Provide strategic oversight of service continuity-related functions, ensuring integration of ITSCM across enterprise security planning.
- Maintaining the enterprise IT service catalog, ensuring accurate and current documentation of all provided services.
- Managing requirements intake and traceability to support effective service delivery and system compliance.
- Developing and maintaining Disaster Recovery (DR) and Continuity of Operations (COOP) plans to support enterprise resilience.
- Security Operations:
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses on IT networks, ensuring comprehensive protection against threats.
- Implement and manage security technologies including Intrusion Detection Systems (IDSs), Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), firewalls, and other related systems.
- Lead incident handling and response efforts, ensuring timely identification, containment, eradication, and recovery from security incidents.
- Compliance & Frameworks:
- Ensure adherence to DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and other relevant regulations and standards.
- Perform and oversee Command Cyber Readiness Inspections (CCRIs), Cybersecurity Compliance Inspections (CCORIs), and Cybersecurity Operational Readiness Assessments (CORAs).
- Apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) within enterprise architectures to ensure secure configurations.
- Policy Development:
- Develop and enforce enterprise IT security policies to ensure information protection on systems and networks.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technology solutions to safeguard organizational networks.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Current Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
- Bachelors with 18 years of experience. Additional experience can be used in lieu of a degree.
- One of the following certifications is required for this position:
- Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO).
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
- Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Security Leadership Certification (GSLC).
