Job Title: ERP Support Consultant HCM
Location: Hybrid Sacramento, CA (Onsite as needed)
Duration: 12 Months
Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned ERP Support Consultant to provide ongoing development, migration, and support for Oracle PeopleSoft HCM and FSCM applications, while also collaborating on the transition to Oracle Fusion HCM. The ideal candidate will offer hands-on expertise and mentorship to internal ERP teams, ensuring knowledge transfer, operational stability, and alignment with long-term system goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide development and functional support for Oracle PeopleSoft HCM and FSCM systems.
Collaborate closely with Oracle Fusion HCM implementation teams to ensure seamless migration and system continuity.
Assist in the migration of on-premises ERP applications to Oracle SaaS solutions.
Deliver recurring development support for ERP customizations and enhancements requested by internal stakeholders.
Participate in production and test environment validation, including resolution of legacy application issues.
Conduct regular knowledge transfer sessions with the internal ERP Support (ERPS) team.
Document technical processes, development strategies, and incident resolution protocols.
Provide strategic input on system design, data archiving, and cloud migration best practices.
Act as a mentor to internal team members, helping to build long-term ERP support capacity.
Deliverables:
Development support for customer-requested ERP features and updates.
Assistance with Oracle Fusion HCM implementation and PeopleSoft legacy support.
Ongoing documentation and delivery of technical knowledge transfer sessions.
Required Qualifications:
15+ years of experience in Oracle PeopleSoft development and legacy support.
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion HCM implementation, migration, and data cleanup.
10+ years of experience in Oracle PeopleSoft HCM data archiving.
10+ years of experience in cloud migration or data consolidation projects.
10+ years of experience supporting Oracle SaaS products and services.
Solid knowledge of Oracle database infrastructure and operational support.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to mentor teams and lead technical discussions.
Strong documentation and incident resolution skills.
Preferred Attributes:
Previous experience in a large-scale public sector or enterprise ERP environment.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid, matrixed team.
Comfortable working with internal IT teams and third-party vendors during transitional system phases.
