Job Description:
  • The Salesforce Platform Architect/Administrator will be responsible for the overall architecture, administration, customization, and optimization of the Salesforce platform.
  • This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic planning, ensuring Salesforce solutions align with business objectives while maintaining platform security, scalability, and best practices.
Responsibilities:
  • Administer and maintain the Salesforce platform (Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Knowledge, CMS), including user management, profiles, roles, and security settings.
  • Customize Salesforce to meet business needs by creating custom objects, fields, validation rules, approval processes, and flows.
  • Design and implement automated processes to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage data imports, exports, deduplication, and system integrations with external applications.
  • Lead system upgrades, deployment processes, and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Salesforce DX, Jenkins, Copado, or Gearset.
  • Develop and maintain Lightning Web Components, Apex classes, triggers, Aura components, APIs, and other Salesforce metadata.
  • Architect and document end-to-end Salesforce solutions, including data models, integration designs, and governance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver enhancements that drive measurable value.
  • Provide technical leadership on Salesforce initiatives, including integrations, development, and third-party solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to coding, security, and architectural standards through code reviews and governance processes.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement tools and technologies from Salesforce AppExchange and external vendors.
  • Stay up-to-date on Salesforce releases, features, and best practices to continuously improve platform capabilities.
  • Provide end-user support, training, and documentation for processes and system changes.
  • Participate in or lead Salesforce projects, including design, development, integration, and deployment activities.
  • Support the Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE) practices, promoting technical governance and data stewardship.
  • Engage in pre-sales and technical deep-dive sessions when needed, including proof-of-concept (POC) development.
Must Have:
  • Extensive experience designing and administering Salesforce applications, preferably for government or regulated environments.
  • Expertise in Salesforce CRM, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Government Cloud.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, security, integrations, and automation tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Flow automation.
  • Proven ability to meet cybersecurity, compliance, and non-functional requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams.
Should Have:
  • Experience implementing DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with integration technologies such as REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and sprint-based delivery.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce governance, best practices, and platform optimization strategies.
Qualification and Education:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Salesforce certifications preferred (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I/II, Application Architect, System Architect).
  • References from similar Salesforce implementation projects are an asset.
