Application Programmer

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Pennington, NJ and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for delivering and supporting monitoring solutions for large-scale network, system, application, service, and business application availability
• Involved in the creation, deployment and support of the application and system instrumentation that the company uses to monitor their network, systems and business application portfolio
• Work with senior members of the team to gather monitoring requirements from stakeholders and deliver solutions based on direction provided by Monitoring Architect and Monitoring Lead

Requirements:

• 4+ year's experience developing alerting and application dashboards using Splunk as well as utilizing APM tools such as Dynatrace
• 4+ year's experience with implementation of synthetic and business process monitoring tools such as SiteScope, Glass box, Catchpoint
• Strong technical skills
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
• Self-driven individual, who is a continual learner, with good project management skills
• Solid understanding of large scale applications, network architectures, monitoring and fault management
• Experience with ticketing systems like Remedy or ServiceNow
• Strong understanding and exposure with both Windows and Linux Systems

Desired skills:

• Software development experience
• Well versed with AGILE toolsets (JIRA, BitBucket, Confluence) and AGILE methodology

Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06
