Job Title: AEM Edge Developer

Location: Remote
Type: Contract

Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned AEM Edge Developer with expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Edge Delivery Services, front-end development, and cloud-native application architecture. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with AEM as a Cloud Service, performance optimization at the edge, and building fast, personalized web experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver websites and web applications using AEM Edge Delivery Services and AEM as a Cloud Service.

  • Build high-performance, low-latency front-end solutions that leverage Edge computing principles.

  • Implement Edge-side personalization and content rendering strategies.

  • Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to create seamless, responsive user experiences.

  • Optimize loading performance, caching, and content delivery using CDNs and edge rendering techniques.

  • Integrate AEM with other Adobe Experience Cloud tools like Adobe Analytics, Target, and Launch.

  • Write clean, modular, and reusable code using modern frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Web Components.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, scalability, and implementation.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of hands-on development with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) including Edge Delivery Services.

  • Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service and headless CMS implementations.

  • Strong front-end skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Vue.

  • Solid understanding of CDNs, caching, and edge computing models.

  • Familiarity with JAMstack architecture, content APIs, and serverless technologies.

  • Experience integrating with Adobe Launch, Analytics, and Target.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Adobe Certified AEM Sites Developer

  • Experience with GraphQL, SPA Editor, and Next.js/Nuxt.js

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Git workflows

  • Understanding of performance monitoring tools (Lighthouse, WebPageTest, etc.)
