How Will You Contribute to the Company?
We are seeking an experienced individual to join us as a Sustaining Engineer. This position will have ownership over supporting Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions products formally released to Operations to ensure ongoing product quality. They will work to successfully transition new products from R&D to Operations. They will work closely with Operations, R&D, Supply Chain and Support to identify current product issues, drive product improvement, and improve efficiencies in the process.`

The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

What will you do
- Own direct product lifecycle support for released products
- Lead and support change management activities cross-functionally within Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions and our supply chain
- Evaluate current ways of working cross functionally (including tools and systems), and identifying/implementing improvements with cross functional buy-in including but not limited to:
o Work directly with In-Country certification and Homologation team
o Engineering Change Notification and Product Lifecycle Management initiatives
o New Product Introduction and Release processes
- Provide Operational guidance to R&D in the development of products to support efficient and effective design, test, and packaging to support Operations financial and quality metrics
- Provide direct and indirect support for solving hardware quality problems and resolution of customer and internal issues
The skills you bring
Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Manufacturing, R&D, or Operations is preferred for this position
- Experience with RF/Wireless technology including routers, switches, and modems
- Proven experience developing electronic products with off-shore partners including Asian cultural awareness
- Well versed in Project Management methodologies

- Experience working with continuous improvement and problem-solving methodologies
- Highly organized, strong attention to detail, enjoy multi-tasking
- Experience implementing and working in PLM systems
- Experiencing in bringing products through the development process
- Committed to developing, improving and documenting processes
