Job Description: Operations Coordinator III

Summary
Reality Labs Research at Meta brings together a team of scientists, developers, and engineers to advance virtual and augmented reality, aiming to make them as integral as smartphones and personal computers.
The Reality Labs Research Audio team focuses on creating virtual sounds indistinguishable from reality and enhancing human hearing. These initiatives aim to connect people, enabling them to communicate effectively even in challenging listening environments.
We are seeking a contract Operations Coordinator in Redmond, WA, to support and streamline operations for our team. We welcome applications from detail-oriented individuals willing to engage in operational projects to support the team's objectives. Reporting to the Operations Program Manager, responsibilities include procurement, vendor support, project management, maintaining information strategies, and providing general team support.Tasks and responsibilities will fluctuate as needs of the team change so being able to manage change, and operate in ambiguity is essential.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage the creation and oversight of Purchase Orders (POs), Statements of Work (SOWs), contracts, and support vendor onboarding and documentation.
Support expense tracking systems using internal team trackers and company-wide tools.
Assist with purchasing and asset management activities.
Assist project teams with budgeting and expense tracking systems.
Execute small, non-IT projects to improve team processes.
Maintain project management processes and resources.
Provide logistics support for devices and assets related to research and team goals.
Assist with event logistics.
Support additional areas as needed, such as maintaining team information.
Qualifications:
4+ years experiences working with suppliers and procurement systems
Proficient in spreadsheet tools (MS Excel, Google Sheets), including pivot tables, charts, scripting, and customized views.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Knowledge of business and management principles related to planning, allocation, and project management.
Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles as needed.
Ability to analyze business trends and project future expenses.
Experience in managing vendor and partner relationships professionally.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting, or a relevant field required.
