Role:- Senior DataStax Cassandra Administrator.

Location: Cincinnati, OH (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain DataStax Cassandra (DSE) clusters in production, staging, and development environments.
• Monitor cluster performance and proactively address issues related to latency, throughput, and node health.
• Perform data backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Implement and manage security policies, authentication, and authorization in Cassandra environments.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with application development teams to optimize data models, queries, and data access patterns.
• Plan and execute capacity planning and cluster expansion as needed.
• Automate operational tasks using scripts or tools (e.g., Ansible, etc.).
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for production support, incident management, and root cause analysis.
• Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
