We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control systems that ensure our products meet all necessary requirements before they reach the consumer. This position will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our products and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Quality Engineer will work closely with the manufacturing team, providing expertise and guidance on quality control, PPAP, root cause analysis, FMEA, and CMM.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement quality control systems that effectively monitor product manufacturing and ensure product quality.
2. Coordinate with the production team to develop and implement quality assurance tests.
3. Conduct root cause analysis to identify and address manufacturing issues that could lead to product defects.
4. Use PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) methods to ensure all manufacturing processes are in compliance with quality standards.
5. Execute FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) to anticipate potential defects and prevent their occurrence.
6. Operate and program CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) for product inspections and generate reports.
7. Participate in the review of engineering designs to contribute quality requirements and considerations.
8. Assist management in establishing, implementing, and maintaining the quality management system.
9. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce potential quality risks and overall company costs.
10. Provide training and support to the manufacturing team on new or advanced quality control methods and practices.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in the manufacturing industry.
3. Extensive knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies.
4. Proficiency in PPAP, root cause analysis, FMEA, and CMM.
5. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently when required.
8. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality control software.
9. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification is a plus.
10. Proven experience in managing the entire product cycle to ensure product quality.
