Piper Companies is seeking a QA Engineer for a technology driven organization in the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina (NC) area. The QA Engineer will be responsible for providing manual testing of web applications to identify bugs and other defects. The ideal candidate for the QA Engineer role will have end-to-end testing experience.

- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases and test scripts for the functionality, performance and security of the applications
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate testing results and risks
- Document defects and own issues to resolution
- Participate In Agile development processes
Requirements for QA Engineer include:
- 4+ years of software quality assurance with a focus on functional, API, and database testing
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Strong SQL skills
- Familiarity and/or interest in automation
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and/or Computer Engineering preferred or relevant work experience
Compensation for the QA Engineer:
- $85,000 - $110,000 with full comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law
