Location: Charlotte, NC (HYBRID 4 days in-office)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems, with a focus on our .NET-based TMS Brokerage Application. The role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive automation, monitoring, incident management, and infrastructure improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Automate operations to reduce toil and improve system efficiency

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance

- Drive incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous reliability improvements

- Collaborate on architectural decisions and infrastructure design

- Lead chaos testing and implement resilience strategies

- Mentor junior/offshore engineers and lead blameless postmortems

Decision-Making Areas:

- Restore service during high-severity incidents

- Define SLOs/SLIs and enforce reliability standards

- Evaluate monitoring, CI/CD tools, and recommend architectural improvements

- Prioritize technical debt, reliability tasks, and automation

Required Qualifications:

- 10+ years in IT with 5+ years in SRE

- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform, .NET applications, cloud and on-prem environments

- Expertise in tools like Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, NewRelic, Grafana

- Proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash

Preferred Experience:

- Logistics or transportation industry background

- Google Cloud Platform and SRE certifications
