SAP GTS/GTC Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand global trade and compliance requirements.
• Design, configure, and implement SAP GTC/GTS modules (Compliance Management, Customs Management, Preference Processing, Risk Management).
• Integrate SAP GTS with SAP ECC/S4HANA and external systems for seamless trade processing.
• Manage master data relevant to trade compliance, including sanctioned party lists and classification codes.
• Provide support for embargo checks, legal control, and export/import documentation.
• Analyze regulatory changes and implement system changes accordingly.
• Conduct system testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Create process documentation, functional specs, and training materials.
• Provide day-to-day production support and resolve GTC-related issues.
• Support audits and generate compliance reports as required by international trade laws.
• Partner with Legal, Tax, Logistics, and Procurement teams to ensure end-to-end compliance coverage.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with SAP GTS/GTC in a functional or techno-functional role.
• Strong knowledge of international trade compliance regulations (e.g., ECCN, HTS, EAR, ITAR).
• Experience integrating GTS with SAP SD, MM, and Logistics modules.
• Hands-on configuration experience in SAP GTS modules.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the Consumer Electronics or Manufacturing domain.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA.
• Exposure to customs brokerage systems or third-party integration tools (e.g., SAP PI/PO, CPI).
• SAP Certification in GTS is a plus.
