RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Manual QA Tester (Accessibility Expert) in Austin, TX. The QA Tester will test all functionality, with a focus on accessibility, usability, and cross-browser/device compatibility.
Responsibilities:
* Write and execute manual test cases for functionality and content
* Perform accessibility testing using tools (Axe, Wave, JAWS, NVDA)
* Validate compliance with WCAG 2.2 AA and Section 508 standards
* Test across supported browsers and operating systems
* Document and track defects in collaboration with developers.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 3+ years of manual QA testing experience
* Hands-on accessibility testing expertise
* Familiarity with Drupal CMS testing
* Experience testing across multiple devices and OS combinations
Nice-to-Haves:
* Familiarity with automated accessibility testing tools
* Experience testing government or public sector websites
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
