We are partnering with one of our staffing partners who is searching for a cyber security developer with java experience for a big Consulting client . Responsibility to maintain both front-end and back-end development, build scalable applications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create seamless user experiences.

• Cybersecurity Developer with deep Java expertise and DevOps experience to help build secure, scalable applications and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in Java development, security best practices, and experience integrating security solutions within DevOps workflows

Responsibilities

• Develop and secure Java applications using best practices for authentication, authorization, and encryption.
• Design and implement Java-based security solutions, including access control and API security.
• Optimize performance and security for Java microservices and containerized applications.
• Secure CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure Java code deployment using DevOps methodologies.
• Conduct secure code analysis and vulnerability assessments for Java applications.
• Implement and maintain Java-based IAM solutions and security APIs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security within Java-based applications and DevOps pipelines.
• Monitor application security using SIEM solutions, penetration testing, and automated security scans.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Java programming (Java SE, Java EE, Spring Boot).
• Deep understanding of secure coding practices in Java, including OWASP Top Ten vulnerabilities.
• Experience with Java-based frameworks for security (Spring Security, Apache Shiro).
• Proficiency in DevOps tools, including:
  • CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD)
  • Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
  • Monitoring & Logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
• Hands-on experience with application security tools, such as:
  • Static and Dynamic Analysis tools (SonarQube, Snyk, Checkmarx)
  • Intrusion Detection Systems (Snort, Suricata)
  • Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions
• Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, and vulnerability management.
