Position Summary
MPC is seeking a strategic and collaborative Manager of IT Architecture to lead the development and delivery of architectural strategies across diverse IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments. This key role will facilitate the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and innovative technology solutions that align with business objectives and support enterprise-wide operational excellence. The successful candidate will drive cross-functional collaboration, promote architectural best practices, and ensure seamless integration of IT and OT systems in dynamic, multi-site settings. By mentoring a talented architecture team and contributing to the technology roadmap, the Manager of IT Architecture will play a vital role in advancing our organization's success.

Key Responsibilities
- Manages daily operations of the team, providing guidance, mentorship, and driving a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Oversees recruitment, development, retention, and performance to build strong talent. Plans and leads low- to medium-complexity IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Ensures the availability, reliability, and security of technology systems. Collaborates with key stakeholders and internal groups to identify needs, deliver effective solutions, and support business objectives.
- Foster collaboration with digital delivery teams to accelerate architecture implementation, ensuring secure, scalable, and resilient systems that align with enterprise standards and are ready for smooth transition to Engineering and deployment teams.
- Establish and enforce architecture principles, standards, and best practices, aligned with Enterprise Architecture fundamentals to ensure consistent, scalable, and business-aligned IT solutions across the enterprise.
- Support and advocate for effective architecture plans and strategies and communicate broadly to stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Cultivate collaboration amongst specialized Architecture Roles throughout the practice, Cross Functional IT teams, and relevant business units to drive cohesive outcomes.
- Proactively monitor and evaluate emerging technologies, integrating strategic insights into enterprise architecture to drive innovation, enhance business capabilities, and sustain a competitive advantage across the organization.
- Lead the design and governance of architectures that ensure robust business continuity, disaster recovery, and security, integrating strategic resilience, scalability, and compliance to support enterprise-wide operational excellence.
- Develop and implement IT/OT architectural strategies to create scalable, secure, and innovative solutions that align with enterprise business goals and support multi-site operations.
- Lead the design and delivery of architectural deliverables, including system blueprints, data models, and integration frameworks, ensuring robust and standardized solutions for IT and OT environments.
- Ensure compliance and security standards are incorporated into all architectural designs, mitigating risks and maintaining governance across distributed IT/OT systems.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other computer-related degree required.
- 10+ years of diversified IT experience required.
- 3+ years of direct or indirect leadership experience required.
