Job Details

Hardware Validation & Testing:

  • Execute test plans for chips, GPUs, and data center hardware to evaluate performance, reliability, and power consumption.
  • Use lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, PCIe analyzers, etc.) to collect and analyze data.
  • Assist in debugging failures, working closely with validation engineers to identify issues and propose solutions.
  • Document test results and report anomalies for further analysis.

Software & Automation Testing:

  • Write and execute Python scripts to automate test execution and data collection.
  • Perform software validation tests, including driver and firmware compatibility checks.
  • Analyze system logs and software performance metrics to identify issues.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze test data to detect trends and unexpected behaviors.
  • Generate reports and summaries of test results for engineering teams.
  • Work with validation engineers to refine test procedures and improve efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate s or Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in hardware validation, testing, or a related role.
  • Hands-on experience with test execution for chips, GPUs, or data center equipment.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation and data analysis.
  • Basic experience with software validation (firmware, drivers, or system compatibility testing).
  • Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power meters, and logic analyzers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow detailed validation procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in data center environments or high-performance computing.
  • Familiarity with Linux environments and scripting.
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools and automated testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of failure analysis techniques and debugging tools.
