Job Details

  • Design, develop, and deploy API proxies using Apigee Edge or Apigee X.

  • Implement API security policies, traffic management, rate limiting, OAuth2, and JWT using Apigee policies.

  • Integrate APIs with backend services hosted on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.

  • Collaborate with solution architects, cloud engineers, and application teams to create scalable API solutions.

  • Create reusable shared flows and maintain global API configuration standards.

  • Perform API versioning, documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI), and manage API lifecycle.

  • Monitor and optimize API performance using Apigee Analytics and cloud-native tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Google Cloud Platform Stackdriver).

  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security and data governance standards.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, design reviews, and code walkthroughs.


Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of professional experience in API development and integration.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Apigee Edge or Apigee X.

  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, OAuth2, JWT, and web security standards.

  • Proven expertise in one or more public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform):

    • AWS: Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, EC2, S3, IAM

    • Azure: API Management, Azure Functions, Azure Monitor

    • Google Cloud Platform: Apigee X, Cloud Functions, GKE, Cloud Logging

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Java for custom logic and extensions.

  • Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and DevOps tools.

  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless integrations is a plus.
