Job Details
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced principal network/systems engineer to serve as the technical lead for the network integration (Re-IP) acceleration initiative. This individual will be accountable for driving technical execution and alignment across network, server, and end-user device infrastructure, focusing on accelerating the re-IP ing of the Network Infrastructure Environment (NIE). You will lead the application of the Re-IP Playbook, guide technical SMEs, and champion the use of automation and tooling to streamline and standardize the re-IP process.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering, with a strong background in network engineering, systems administration, and enterprise integration.
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale re-IP, data center migration, or infrastructure re architecture efforts.
- Strong understanding of IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, firewalls, and subnets.
- Familiarity with enterprise systems, including Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, SCCM, VMware, and endpoint management tools.
- Proven ability to assess and apply network automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Infoblox, SolarWinds, NetBox).
- Skilled in project coordination, technical documentation, and cross-functional team collaboration.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, transformation-driven environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with DoD or large-scale regulated enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with network segmentation, Zero Trust, or modernization efforts.
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, MCSE, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, or CISSP.
- Familiarity with ITIL, DevOps practices, and Agile methodologies.
