Location & Work Arrangement
- Location: Columbus, Ohio
- Work Arrangement: 100% Remote
- Contract: This is a Contract position.
- Mode of Interview: Virtual Interview via MS Teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Elicitation: Collaborate with stakeholders using techniques like interviews, facilitated workshops, storyboarding, and prototyping to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Documentation: Translate high-level business needs into detailed user stories, use cases, functional requirements documents, process flows, screen mock-ups, and gap analyses.
- Process Improvement: Analyze current business processes for improvement opportunities and the application of a lean approach. Create and maintain business process workflows and flowcharts.
- Quality Assurance Support: Work closely with Quality Assurance teams to support testing efforts and perform validation of final solutions against requirements specifications.
- Project Support: Assist in developing project task plans, leading meetings, coordinating requirements gathering activities, and supporting Change Management implementation.
- Knowledge Management: Create documents and other artifacts to promote sustainable knowledge management within the organization.
Desired Experience & Skills
Candidates should have proven experience in the following specialized BA areas:
- Requirements Artifacts: Experience developing and defining:
- Business Requirements (Project Initiation Documents, Quality Measures).
- Functional Requirements (describing system/process actions).
- User (Stakeholder) Requirements (defining test cases and design).
- Report Specifications (defining purpose, attributes, and parameters).
- Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
- Methodology: Knowledge of formal requirements gathering methodologies and experience with Change Management processes.
- Tool Familiarity (Preferred): Experience utilizing agile toolsets including Azure, GIT, or similar tools.
- Soft Skills: Excellent oral and written communication, strong meeting/work session facilitation skills, ability to work independently, and strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
